Twitter is not rocket science; it’s a new communication tool, just as the telephone and email were once new. Every communication method has its own unwritten etiquette; for example, emailing someone a quick question at 3AM is perfectly acceptable, but calling them at 3AM with that same quick question is rude (at best). Before you start using Twitter, you’ll want to learn what’s considered polite and what’s considered rude.
